In more exciting, more nerdy, more couch potatoey, more filling-the-baseball-void-in-your-empty-soul news, the best show that you are not watching because you: a) don't have a TV to avoid the aliens' brainwashing beams, b) hate things that are awesome, c) your parents were first cousins who also only watched sucky television, is coming back January 10th. That's still light years away from baseball season (sigh), so you should totally spend Mondays Chucking yourself. But if my endorsement isn't enough, I offer ten more points:
1. Captain Awesome's real life counterpart, Ryan McPartlin, is a boneable bonafied Cubs fan.2. Adam Baldwin. Every deliciously naughty fantasy I have (that isn't about Aramis Ramirez, of course) is about Animal Mother/Major Mitchell/Jayne Cobb/
3. Last season featured a DeLorean, Missile Command & Predator drones.
4. The season before? A Wookie, a sandworm and Tron.
5. Jeffster!
6. BAMF guest stars such as T-1000 and a little guy you might know as Superman.
7. There isn't anybody on this show not worth giving up an appendage to get to third base with. I'm looking at you Yvonne Strahovski & Sarah Lancaster.
8. I ate a lot of mofo-ing subs to get this thing renewed. Must those carbs to be in vain?
9. Viva Buy Moria.
10. Didya hear? Chuck knows Kung Fu.

Hey Jen, I don't know much about the two prospects that we got in exchange for Heilman. From what I've read, LHP Scott Maine had TJ surgery in 2004.
1B Ryne White is a Chicago boy, he played A ball here locally about 30minutes from where I live, he is a pull hitter.
Hmm...interesting stuff, Blue. And who can't love a guy named Ryne? When I was in high school, I used to babysit for a Ryne who would say he was named after his dad's favorite baseball player. ;)
I always told myself that if I ever had a son, I would name him Ryne.

Wow, that would be sweet. We need to sign a big name pitcher. I think that RH still has a good career ahead of him, he uses what he has and makes the best of it to get batters out, kind of like G. Maddux.

Agreed. Our rotation is a big concern of mine already, especially if Teddy is going to be a question mark for the first month.
I think we will be ok without Ted for the first month, as long as we can get someone to fill in and give us 4-5 good starts, question is, can the team can give whoever that may be some run support.
