Pick a door, any door…seriously, you (unlike the Cardinals) can't lose!
Door no. 1: The big damn hero's big damn error without a doubt cost the Cardinals game 2. (My favorite door, FYI.)

Door no. 2: It took six months but the real Ryan Franklin finally stood up. (When you pitch like that, there's really no justification for that ridiculous beard.)
Door no. 3: The Cardinals fanbase brain trust is now ready to kick Matt Holliday to the curb, completely forgetting that they wouldn’t have even been in a position to lose game 2 if not for the oafish rental. (Morans.)

LOVE.IT. I was at work during the Great Demise of 2009 and you should have heard the cursing and yelling that was going on. It was true beauty. I then logged on to Facebook and saw about 100 profile updates cursing the Cards and Matt Holliday. I giggled. :)
I'm still rolling on the floor over here KD. It's sad...but sometimes a Cards loss is as good as a Cubs win, in a really bitter and depressing kind of way.
totally. just wish i could have watched the game. but, I must say, hearing a bunch of crisis workers yelling and cursing is quite entertaining. ;)
I turned it off after the Dodgers failed to win it in the bottom of the 8th, assuming they were done for (a side effect from the '09 Cubs season, I suppose).
The highlights are great though. I didn't realize the ball more or less hit Holliday in his um, jingle bells.
LOL.
Did you get a chance to do your homework assignment and check out Skippy Schu's ass? :)
Um, I did. And I have to report that (while in encased in the pants o'evil)...that is a helluva tookis.
As for Loneytoons, well...well...well - a girl could used to that view!
HEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEE.
I can't stop laughing. Cy fucking Young my ass!
You KNOW Cards fans were just as thrilled about what the Dodgers did to the Cubs last year, so I consider this justice!
Justice indeed! Tomorrow could be the greatest day ever if the Dodgers win. You know if the Cards win even one game and then get eliminated, we'll still have to hear Cards fans say "well at least we won a game, what did the Cubs do the last two playoffs?".
Good girl Jen for doing your homework. I'm having inappropriate thoughts about James Loney as we speak.....
OK, I gotta agree that Loney is pretty darn hot. But still, a Dodger.
My word veri is "strep" I hope the entire Yankees team gets Strep throat!

You MUST read this article from stltoday.com
My favorite part is when Wainwright blames the loss on the fact that the Dodger fans were all waving white towels, distracting the Cards. Uh, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the point? LOVE the excuses boys, love 'em. Just accept that you lost and take it like a man. :)
Here's a long one but this is too much.
Justice is right JJ! HEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHHEHEEHHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE...still funny.
KD, you are so right about we must have a sweep. (Although should that plan fail, we can always say "say what you want about Fonzy's defense, but at least it never cost us a playoff game")
Now onto the article:
"It makes me sick, absolutely sick to my stomach," shortstop Brendan Ryan said. (Now you know how we feel when we look at that moustache.)
""It doesn't seem really fair that an opposing team should be allowed to shake white towels..." (ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? Talk about being a damn baby. What's next - "I was gonna hit a home run but there was some guy in the stands going "hey batter, batter, batter...swing!" It was really distracting.)
"This team can win three games in a row. This team can win 11 games in a row," vowed first baseman Albert Pujols. (Not when you're 1 for 6. Say, where's a syringe when you need one?)
"At that point you hope the ball hits your body or hits your glove..." Holliday said. (Um, the ball hit ya right in the nuts. Don't tell me you didn't feel that.)
Said right fielder Ryan Ludwick: "Sometimes, there's no justice in this game. Today was one of those days." (Said three Cubs funs: "Sometimes there's a lot of justice in this game. And sometimes it's hilarious.)
LMAO Jen! Can you believe that effin article? Man-talk about a bunch of whiny babies. I've been discussing it w/one of the docs here at work today (big Cards fan) and even he agrees the whining and excuses are uncalled for. I was actually kinda feeling bad for the Dirty Birds, but after reading that article I TOTALLY want the Dodgers to sweep.
"hey batter, batter, batter...swing!" HILARIOUS!
Did you catch the part that the stadium wasn't even sold out? This is the playoffs you ass hats. Where are all your fans?
OMG! Someone is selling their game 4 Cards/Dodgers tickets on Twitter! hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
LMAO. This day just keeps getting better and better.
do one of you "morans" wanna go in w/me and bid for the game 4 tix????
LMAO. :)
I would KD...but bidding on a "game 4" would be like bidding on a ticket to a mudwrestling match between Santa and the Easter Bunny, hosted by the Tooth Fairy. Winner gets the leprechaun's pot of gold.
Did I mention Jo-EL is pitching game 3? Muahahahahahahhahahaha.
So....if I told you I had some ocean front property in Arizona you wouldn't be interested???
LMAO!!! - put it on Twitter KD! Next to the game 4 tix!
I think that mud wrestling match is more likely to happen than a game four. tee hee hee hee hee, ouch! Fell off my chair laughing.
So will the arch fall if the Dirty Birds get swept by the Dodgers?
I watched all of the game last night and was thrilled to see the DB's blow the game.
By the way as of today, I'm cancer free....YEAH! I'll keep getting tested every three months or so, but so far it's good news.
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blue, I didn't think this day could get even better but that TOTALLY ROCKS!
Maybe we should celebrate at game 4...oh wait...hehehehe.
Jen, I think we should celebrate with KD showing up to work wearing a Dodgers jersey....lol
OMG, I know - she definitely should!!! I totally wore my Cubs gear today (got an equal amount of dirty looks & appreciative smiles from the Cards/Cubs masses.)
Let's all wear blue tomorrow for some solidarity vibes. Not that I'll have any idea if you guys are wearing blue or red or nothing at all. ;)
I'll don my Cubbies hat tomorrow and a blue shirt to match. We should all post pictures to prove that we wore blue...lol
I'm in - I'll be wearing Blue.
Blue - good to hear you are cancer free!! YIPPEE!
Thank you JJ, it is such a huge relief. It still all seems like a bad dream, but one that just got a whole lot better.
YAY BLUE! - Boo cancer....
So girls that was quite a game last night, huh? I actually watched it and when it was 2 outs in the 9th, for some reason I just felt I had to keep watching. Well now I know the reason - Matt Holliday is a secret Cubs fan! He LOVES US! When DeRo (oh my poor DeRo - looking so sexy and yet so wrong in that red uniform.....hey anyone wanna help me take it off him?....oh wait but I digress....) when DeRo threw that ball into right field, I turned to my hubby and informed him that I knew he still loved us and was sabotaging that rotten team on purpose. Then Matty boy takes one in the, uh, "stomach" and it's proof ( to me at least) that all those "new" cardinals really hate the team.
I sorta felt bad for enjoying that loss so much - but then I thought back to last year and figured most Cards fans were doing the same to us! Heeheehee
YAY BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is the best news EVER!
As for the arch falling, I sure hope not. I kinda like it. Although I don't like going up in it-it sways, makes me wanna hurl.
Kids, I would SO show up to work on Mon in a Dodgers jersey! LMAO!!!!!
I'm totally down w/wearing blue tomorrow!
IHDR...that throw by DeRo was terrible, wasn't it??? OMG. Total sabotage. Maybe he and Holliday will BOTH be Cubs next year. Hmmm, intriguing.....
Thank you IHDR and KD, I appreciate the support from fellow Cubs fans.
KD, you would be the bestest Cubs fan ever if you show up to work wearing a Dodgers jersey on Monday.....let's win the series first then we'll discuss the details later....lol
OMG, IHDR - totally sabotage! It all makes sense now. I started to feel bad too...until I remembered Cards fans doing the same thing to me in '07...and then in '08...and then a couple of months ago. (And it's a lot more dickish IMO since they win all the effing time and we are, as you know, the Cubs - 'nuff said.) I know wayyy too many assy Cards fans so trust me, don't feel guilty. I'm guessing we STILL aren't enjoying this enough. ;)
Blue, I can't stop thinking of you rooting for the Dodgers over there in Giants country. Hope you're not taking too much heat for it.
Say it with me people, SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!
Ohmigod...just read someone refer to the incident as Holliday's "crotch botch"!!!!!!!!!!!!
SWEEEEEP! I mean you, Dodgers, not you, Yankees. UGH, looks like my Twinkies are going down.
"Crotch Botch" heeheeheeheehee
"Crotch Botch".....lmao
Damn those Yankees...and what was up with that one umpire calling that Mauer ground rule double a foul ball? I mean gezzzz the ball only hit like two feet fair inside the foul line.
Jen, I may have to wear a Dodgers jersey out to Walmart and see what kind of heat I get....lol
Anyone else wearing blue today besides me?
Go Dodgers!!!!!!
Effing Yankees. Effing Twins too. I tuned in for extra innings and saw the Twins blow that bases loaded/no outs sitch...thought I was watching the Cubs for a minute!
Blue, I'm sporting my Rami jersey (for the other Ramirez, as dirty as it feels to say that) today (with a thermal underneath - it's chilly today!)
Hi Jen, I'm sporting a blue tee today, no thermal though, it's nice and cool out, but not quiet chilly yet.
Let's hope that Mannywood put's an end to the Dirty Birds post season dreams today.
I wore my blue Cubs sweatshirt to the store today and a guy wearing a Cubs had sad "maybe next year" and I said "Go Dodgers". He gave me a funny look.
Hey JJ, I'm sure that guy must have snapped to what you meant by "Go Dodgers" by now...lol
By the way, John Lackey of the Angels is a free agent at the end of the post season, should the Cubbies go after him and try to sign him?
